Autalavou (Youth)
Also known as VOO or VOO Krew. The Autalavou is a bridge between generations, blending Samoan traditions with Christian faith. It upholds the values of respect (faaaloalo), service (tautua), and love (alofa), ensuring that the youth remain deeply connected to their faith, family, and identity. It is a beacon of hope—raising future leaders in both the church and the Samoan community, shaping young souls to walk in the light of Christ while honoring the ways of their ancestors.
E LELE LE TOLOA, AE MA’AU I LE VAI
This Samoan proverb speaks to the idea of home, identity, and belonging. No matter how far someone may go away, they will always be drawn back to their roots, their family, and their culture—just like the toloa, which may fly away but is always naturally drawn back to the water. It’s a reminder of one's origins, emphasizing that home is more than just a place; it is a part of who you are.
