Mafutaga Tina (Women’s Fellowship)

The Mafutaga Tina is the women's fellowship, a cornerstone of faith, service, and unity within the congregation. The mothers of our church, dedicate themselves to serving God and their church community with love, compassion, and humility. They take on responsibilities such as preparing the Lord’s house, keeping the church clean and beautiful(Teuga Falesā), and ensuring a welcoming space for worship.

Deeply embedded in Samoan culture, the Mafutaga Tina upholds the values of respect (fa‘aaloalo), service (tautua), and hospitality (talimālō). They are at the forefront of major church events, preparing feasts, welcoming guests, and demonstrating the true spirit of alofa (love) and fealofani (unity). More than a fellowship, it is a legacy passed down through generations, where mothers teach daughters the beauty of faith, humility, and service, ensuring that the light of Christ continues to shine in their families and communities.

"O le Tinā, o le fatu o le aiga – The mother is the heart of the family."
